Judging Criteria Boat:
All of the riders are judged based evenly on 3 main criteria’s. Intensity, Composition and Execution. The most well rounded rider will always come out on top.
30% Composition includes the following: A rider that is skilled in all areas; grabs (Skate/snow), spins, flips, rolls, mobes and air based tricks (Raleys, wing tricks). They are looking for both toeside, heelside and switch tricks. In the beginner categories the judgings are looking for as many different tricks as possible, which include different grabs, toeside airs, regular and cab 180s etc. Repeated tricks only count once.So try and keep your favorites to one per run, 3 fashion airs will result in one judged and 2 wasted tricks. Lastly, the flow of your run also plays a role in this division. For example, if you do a trick where you land switch, you will get extra points if you follow that trick with a switch trick.
30% Intensity Includes the following: When performed with great height, flawless effort and in a way that impresses the judges with always take the cake. Judges are looking for style in this category as well, so make sure you showcase tricks that are tweaked, grabbed & big.
30% Execution: This category is based on the difficulty of the trick as well as how clean it was performed. Falls do not hurt your score, they only give you a disadvantage because the rider will now have a shorter length of course.
Judging Criteria – Straight line Cable
4 Categories: RAILS, KICKER, AIR TRICKS, OVERALL IMPRESSION
20% - Rails are judged based on the following: Completion of the whole rail, level of difficulty of the trick , Style
20% - Kicker is judged on the following: Amplitude of the trick , level of difficulty of the trick, execution (stomped landing, grabbed, spun off the kicker not partially on it etc)
20% - Air Tricks: Amplitude of the trick , level of difficulty of the trick, execution (stomped landing, grabbed etc)
40% - Overall Impression: Use of the course and different features (hitting more difficult rails, fitting in more tricks in a pass etc): Composition: (spins, different tricks on rails, different air tricks) Overall Execution (Sketchy landing vs stomped, degree of difficulty)
